The Supporters Club has set themselves a challenge of raising more money than ever over the course of this season to gift to the club . Here’s how you can help:-
By becoming a member of the SSSC – Adult membership costs just £11 for the year (that’s about the same as two pints at the arena), concessions are £8 and children £5. Under 5’s are free. You also get a limited edition pin badge with your membership and a small gift and will be eligible to vote for your ‘Player of the Month’ and have the opportunity to be drawn to present the award to your chosen player. All of the profit from your membership goes to support the team.
By joining us on the road – Buying your away travel tickets is usually cheaper through the SSSC as you will save on your booking fees. In turn, we benefit from group booking discounts and a bit (50p in most cases) more money goes into the pot. Now, 50p isn’t a lot but just imagine if every single travelling fan bought their tickets through us, it would certainly add up! We’d love to see all of you on the road to support the Steelers with us this year.
By attending our events – Come along and have some fun, talk hockey (or don’t), make some new friends and take home a raffle prize! In doing so you will help us raise a few more quid. Keep your eye out on social media and our website and come and see what’s going on at the desk on match nights.
We are sure to come up with a few more ideas to raise a pound or two throughout the course of the year so come and see us. We are a friendly bunch (most of the time) and most of us, well apart from Jean, don’t bite.
