I know it's early before everyone tells me but we are top of the Challenge Cup. To be honest I think we played the best we have since last season when we played Belfast away in March on the Saturday when we won. The players seemed to ‘click’ more than they have in a while and although most fans were sceptical about certain parts of the team such as netminding prior to Greenfield and Foxy signing Neumann who is a young import. When talking to a fan they said they didn't expect him to be as good as he is and didn't expect how much natural skill he has at the age of 23. He is also a very good player at the Elite League level. The only bad thing I have to say about him is that his end product isn't as good. For example he is good at getting into the right positions but not as good at getting the pass across. On Sunday we took the longest bus trip up to Dundee. Where again we didn't fail to impress. We kept putting the puck in the back of the net and finished the game 7-1. There wasn't much to say about the game other than we played well and played for a full 60. Over the weekend while Jones was out Foxy brought Alex Graham in. He and Brandon had several chances. It was just a pity that they couldn't seem to find the net. I did think there were chances for the back up netminders to go in and get some ice time. Let's see if they get a chance this weekend. Roll on Glasgow and Nottingham.
